The Humerus and Femur have many similarities. They are both very large bones. They take the spots of largest and second largest bones in the body. They both have a head superior to both of their shafts.

Use bony markings to determine which side of the body THE SCAPULA AND HUMERUS ARE FROM.To know what side of the body the scapula the acromion will be lateral, the head will also be lateral, the scapular spine will always be posterior, if it was anterior it would get caught on the rib cage when tying to move your shoulders.
