This video was really easy for me to understand because it broke down the parts of the foot and had a visual on how they connected to each other
the big toe (hallux) is only divided into 2 segments while the rest of the phalanges are divided into 3 segments

Distinguish between the tibia and fibula. I can distinguish the difference between the tibia and fibula because the tibia is going to be medial and the fibula is lateral. Also, the tibia is larger than the fibula.
The medial malleolus is a good indicator of the lateral side of the body due to its connection to the foot. Another bony marking is the anterior crest. the anterior crest runs along the anterior side of the tibia, which is lateral to the fibia
Distinguish between the tarsals, metatarsals, and phalanges. The phalanges are your toes because the stick out. With the metatarsals, meta is the prefix for after, so it's after the tarsals

Identify the major bony markings of the tibia and fibula.
Identify specific bony landmarks that can be felt and seen, regardless of being covered by muscle and/or skin. There are two major bony markings that are obvious even though they are covered by skin and muscle are the anterior crest and the calcaneus. The calcaneus being the heel and the the antererior crest being the shin.
